At Optimum, we have developed a proprietary, near-real time inventory management system. Our entire plant is integrated within this system, from non-finished inventory to cards that are complete and ready for distribution.
Our state-of-the-art system allows us to embrace the strategic initiatives of ISO 9001 and Lean Manufacturing, meaning a more efficient and accurate account of our customers product.
As soon as product is received at our facility it is assigned an internal SKU, bar coded, weighed, imaged and counted. It is then designated to a location that is bar coded and has a unique identification number. Our inventory system captures this information so the product is easily tracked and located.
Our system has several unique features:
1. Optimum creates a download of the image of the product when it is received. Along with the item description, the image of the product

allows our employees to easily identify the product. This is especially important when a client has more than one version of a card. It allows for more efficient communication with our clients as they can view the same product we see as well as supporting information for the product.
2. Optimum separates inventory into specified categories, including:
- Receiving/Shipping
- Production
- Warehouse
- Fulfillment
- Store/Location Distribution
