Affixing is the process in which a plastic card is adhered to a carrier (paper or plastic) using fugitive glue for an easy,
clean release of the card from the carrier.

Simple Affixing:
Adhering a card(s) to a single or double layer flat carrier. Optimum has the equipment to adhere the cards using fugitive glue that allows easy removal of the card from the carrier.
Match Affixing:
The process in which a specific card is affixed to a prescribed carrier. Data integrity and 100% accuracy are essential in this type of affixing. This process may require imaging of a bar code or human readable numbers during the affixing process.
Folding:
Whether pre-folding or encasing a card in a folded carrier, Optimum has you covered. Our equipment automates the process in-line to create a quality finished product. |
Security Packs:
Retail packaging has evolved to a place where the car needs to be totally enclosed within a tamper-evident package. This protects the card data from potential fraud at the point-of-sale. Optimum is a certified partner for the Incomm wrap package, and has developed several secure package options we know will provide security and great appearance while also being cost-effective.
Bundling & Labeling:
Our custom programming and processes of card distribution have evolved to account for each card, bundle, and box throughout the distribution chain. Out inventory labels display all critical information necessary for tracking and ease of handling.
